Doctor Sibel GELECEK was born in 1976. She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. She completed her specialty education in Hacettepe University General Surgery Department in Ankara and became a specialist in 2006.

As a female surgeon, from 2006 to 2013 she worked in different state hospitals of Turkey. In 2008, she was a visitor at MD Anderson Cancer Center Surgical Oncology Department of Breast Surgery in Texas and worked on breast surgery.

She also has participated in IRCAD courses that are accepted as an authority in laparoscopic surgery as a contribution to her basic education and continues to do active laparoscopic surgeries.

Doctor Sibel GELECEK, has attended many courses and meetings related to national and international obesity surgery and has obesity surgery certificate. She also provides treatment services in this field.

She has a certificate issued by the Turkish Surgical Association on endoscopy and colonoscopy and actively operates in this area.  She also successfully passed the Turkish Surgical Proficiency Exam in 2012 and was awarded the Turkish Surgical Proficiency Certificate.

Doctor Sibel GELECEK continued her career in Istanbul, by working in private hospitals and health groups. During this period, as a female surgeon, she followed up many patients on breast surgery (diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the breast) and proctology (rectal diseases).

Since  2020, she treats her patients by performing general surgery profession as Breast Surgery,  Anorectal Interventions,Laparoscopic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Colorectal Surgery in her clinic Gynist in Istanbul.
